The currency in the Greek territory since 2002 is the euro (EUR).
The euro is circulating in notes of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500.
The euro is circulating in coins of 0.10, 0.20, 0.50, 0.10, 0.20, 0.50, 1.00 and 2.00.

Greece is 2 hours ahead (GMT +2) during the winter months October-March and 3 hours ahead (GMT +3) during the summer months March-October hours from Greenwich.

The electric current is alternating at 220-250 Volts.

The opnening hours for the Banks in Naxos are: Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Automatic Teller Machines all banks are all over the island.

All European Union citizens (other than English) can travel in Greece with the demonstration of their identity.
British citizens must have with them their passport stamped forever.
Citizens of other countries may stay in Greece without a visa from 60 to 90 days depending on which country they come.

The island's climate is temperate Mediterranean and is characterized by relatively mild winters and relatively cool summers, which contributes greatly to attract many visitors all year round and especially from the Easter holidays until the autumn.
